Today I wanted to check my progress on my travel goals for the time that we'll be here in England. (Currently, most likely until Feb 2013, but possibly until Dec 2013) I checked my old post, Thursday Thirteen-Places to Go for my list and I'm excited that I get to check some off already!
2. Scotland (road trip!)

4. Normandy, France
5. Krakow, Poland
6. Spain
7. Copenhagen, Denmark (a stop on a cruise we're hoping to take!)
8. Russia (another stop on the cruise!)
9. Isle of Man
10. Switzerland (ski trip!)
11. Brugge, Belgium
12. Donegal, Ireland
13. Hungary
I'm hoping to try for Krakow in late October, but we'll see. There is a (really long) day bus trip to Brugge, so I might try to find someone to go on that trip with me sometime soon.

Ahhh, Brugge! We just did the crazy-long daytrip and it went wonderfully. Bring pillow for the coachride :) We had 7 hours in Brugge, and a lovely sunny day. It was well worth the loooong ride there and back.
How many of these are Becca-specific, as opposed to Becca+David? (as Brugge sounds like the former, not the latter so much?).
I liked Budapest, I have to say. I would also recommend flying Wizzair, as they were very good (it's a Polish-Hungarian low cost airline, like Ryanair - but not so nasty and obviously trying to screw the customers!).
I've been to Paris, but otherwise, most of your list is new to me too, so if you are looking for a travel buddy for anything, let me know. I'm planning on Copenhagen next year, as the Elephant Parade goes there! I can get you a lot of info on the Isle of Man as one of my managers is married to an Irish girl whose parents now live there, so he goes a few times to IOM.
